Louis Jadot
Chewy, robust dark stone fruit and cherry aromas with impressions of old vines, earth and leather are confirmed on this wine's palate in a broad, generous texture supported by firm, rustic tannins.
Wine Spectator
A vibrant, focused red, displaying cherry, strawberry and mineral flavors. It's still tightly wound, with a firm, mouthwatering finish and a mineral and dried cherry aftertaste. Best from 2011 through 2020. 250 cases imported.
Score: 90.

Subtle oak toast sets off unusually ripe aromas for this appellation and rather than the usual red pinot fruit, in '05 the nose runs more toward dark and even black fruit. The rich, full and delicious flavors though retain the classic sense of freshness and vibrancy plus a firm minerality on the penetrating finish. This is a lovely and altogether serious effort if distinctly riper than it usually is. Worth a look.
Score: 88-91.
