Lovely strong ruby color with purplish reflection. Superb bouquet with red fruits aromas and spicy notes. Generous and elegant with rich high quality tannins. Very well-balanced. Serve with roasted wild duck or chicken, roasted lamb, grille beef, veal, game and mushroom fricassees.

Wine Spectator

A rock-solid red, with ripe, structured layers of plum, black currant and black cherry offset by sweet olive tapenade, mineral and aged tobacco. The long, iron-filled finish shows impressive depth. Should age nicely. Drink now through 2010. 4,000 cases made.

Score: 92. —James Molesworth, September 30, 2007.
