Colour: Clear, straw yellow colour. Aroma: Unmistakable aromatic hints of Chardonnay gives this Cava very special and unique characteristics. Flavour: The balance between acidity and residual sugar give it an elegant, fruity and gentle taste, making it ideal for Brut lovers.

Wine Spectator

This shows some richness, with Jonagold apple, honey, candied citrus peel and vanilla notes. There's juicy acidity for balance, with a creamy texture and a lingering finish. Drink now. 20,000 cases imported.

Score: 88. —Alison Napjus, June 15, 2010.

Wine Enthusiast

Fairly basic on the nose, where there's apple cider and a spot of yeasty richness. The palate is easygoing as well, with less than lively bubbles but nice sour apple and citrus flavors. Finishes in an acid-driven fashion, with green apple as the lasting note.

Score: 86. —Michael Schachner, December 15, 2009.
