Colour: Golden yellow with shades of copper. Aroma: Intense aromas of acacia blossom and magnolia, with hints of delicate pineapple and melon winter, the bottom of seductive almond paste. Palate: Soft on the palate with a delicate freshness that gives length and amplifies the varietal aromas of flowers. Persistent with a savory finish that reveals great usability. Food Matching: Suitable for appetizers and fish dishes, served youth is an excellent aperitif. Aged with more body goes well with grilled fish or swordfish.

Wine Advocate

The 2010 Pinot Grigio is tasty enough, but lacks the pedigree of the estate's top wines. I am sure the demand for Pinot Grigio is still very strong, but it's hard to understand the rationale for making a wine like this when Friuli is capable of so much more. Sweet pears, flowers and apples linger on the delicate finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014.

Score: 88. —Antonio Galloni, February 2012.

Wine Enthusiast

This is the perfect wine to pair with seafood salad or grilled Ahi tuna steaks. This bright effort shows creamy smoothness, with rich highlights of melon, exotic fruit and honeydew.

Wine Spectator

Well-knit and balanced, featuring delicate flavors of fig, yellow pear, citrus and a hint of matchstick. Clean, lasting finish. Drink now.
