Trescone is a red IGT produced in Umbria, it was named for a traditional dance performed during the harvest and represents the more youthful wine of the estate. It is produced from Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Merlot and is obtained from grapes grown in the area of Panicale in Umbria.

Wine Advocate

The 2007 Trescone flows with sweet red cherries, flowers and minerals, revealing good plumpness, length and balance at this level. Trescone is 50% Sangiovese, 30% Ciliegiolo and 20% Merlot that spent four months in French oak. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2012.
