Subtle cherry color with brick red overtones. Elegant aroma, showing a delicate balance between varietal notes of forest fruits and licorice, and spicy hints of oak. Well-rounded palate with smooth varietal tannins. Ideal with meat, stews, casseroles, and our traditional "paella". Perfect with creamy cheeses.

Wine Advocate

The 2008 Coronas is a blend of 86% Tempranillo and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 9 months in seasoned French and American oak. It displays aromas of spice box, herbs, black currant and blackberry leading to a chunky, slightly one-dimensional wine that has good flavors but little pizzazz. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
