In November 2006, The Wine Spectator named Robert Craig a "Top 50 Napa Cabernet Winery". The ranking is based on ratings garnered over the past 15 years. Since Robert Craig Cellars was founded in 1992, it has consistently ranked among the foremost Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon producers. It is a small, ultra-premium winery noted for hand-crafting limited quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon from exceptional grapes from the Napa Valley. The wines consistently earn 90+ ratings from the most respected wine publications. The wines truly express the "terroir" of the growing regions' distinctive climate and varietal characteristics. The winemaking style of Robert Craig emphasizes rich, concentrated fruit flavors, and ripe integrated tannins. The wines are delicious upon release, but also possess long-term ageability.
