Nobilo Regional Collection Marlborlough Sauvignon Blanc 2007

The Nobilo family was very effective in persuading the New Zealand wine industry to veer away from producing hybrid grape varieties and fortified wines, to a higher level of quality wine, now recognized and appraised by all wine markets.
I like to drink a Sauvignon Blanc with a simply prepared veal or chicken Picatta or Francaise. Even simpler, and equally delicious is this: I take a whole, cut up chicken, and toss it into a ziplock bag with fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 1 1/2 cups), chopped garlic (a lot), chopped parsley (a lot), and a little olive oil, salt and pepper. I let it marinate for a few hours. Throw it on the grill - delicious! (And no clean-up!) This chicken, paired with the Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc is a tremendous hit!
