A Reserva level Cava, 'de Nit' is a blend of the traditional Cava grapes: 55% Macabeo, 20% Xarelo, 20% Parrellada with the addition of 5% Monastrell for complexity and its Rosé color. It is produced in the Methode Champenoise and the disgorgement date is printed on the back label.
The estate has been in the Raventos family since 1497. It was Josep Raventos Fatjo who was credited with making the first Cava back in 1872. Today, Manuel Raventos is at the helm as both president and winemaker.
This Cava is a gorgeous alternative to more pricey Champagne! Perfect for your summertime celebrations and festivities! Personally, I'm not going to pass this one up!
