"Pale yellow with green highlights. Quite reduced on the nose, showing a smoked meat quality today. Broad and dry but showing less obvious acidity and definition today than the regular Clos. This ripe, large-scaled wine will need time in bottle to shed some of its baby fat. But for all its size, it finishes with a light touch.

The 2010 Chablis Les Clos is impeccable. Everything comes together beautifully as the wine takes shape in the glass. Well-articulated aromatics lead to an expressive core of chiseled fruit in this wiry Les Clos. Flowers, white peaches, smoke and crushed rocks linger on the long, crystalline finish. This is a very complete wine that is at once linear yet also shows elements of roundness and richness. Moreau's parcels in Les Clos range from 35 to 55 years of age. This deftly balanced wine was aged 40% in oak. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2030.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
