The 2007 Eiswein has densely packed pear, apple and guava fruit, with an intense, nervy edge in the aroma. It has a luscious silkiness on the palate that is viscous and juicy, with the vintage’s typi- cally bright acidity giving it a crisp, dynamic finish.

A relative bargain in the stratospheric world of icewine, Loosen's 2007 boasts amazingly pure fruit essences resembling candied pineapple, peach, fruit cocktail and even some red-berry notes. It's plump in the mouth but not oversized, with a long, mouthwatering finish.
