Susana Balbo

Pale yellow with golden hints, it reveals intense aromas of jasmine, white rose petals and notes of fresh citrus fruit. On the palate, it has enticing flavors of lychee, honey and pear leading to a delicate and silky finish.

Wine Advocate

The 2009 Torrontes Late Harvest was made from Mendoza fruit in which 20% of the wine was aged for 3 months in new French oak. Light gold in color with a perfumed nose of quince, marmalade, and ginger, on the palate it is viscous, medium sweet, and lively enough to serve as an aperitif. There is no reason to delay gratification with this tasty effort; drink it over the next 12-18 months.

Score: 90. —Jay Miller, December 2010.

Wine Spectator

Forward, with medium-sweet notes of honeysuckle-accented creamed peach and tangerine. Hints of grapefruit zest lift the finish. Drink now.

Score: 85. December 15, 2010.
