Perched on the southwestern facing slopes of a hill near Philo, in the Anderson Valley, this small vineyard is ideally situated for the production of high quality Pinot Noir. The vines lay below the coastal fog until near midday when they emerge into the gentle afternoon heat allowing the grapes to ripen slowly producing wines of incredible depth and intensity. This father and son team employs traditional Burgundian techniques, using small open top fermenters, hand punch-downs, then finishing the wine unfined and unfiltered.
