Bramare Lujan de Cuyo Malbec 2015
Deep red color with violet hues. Very intense aromas of pepper, cloves, cinnamon and other spices, along with black fruits and roses. It is a complex wine, long and structured; wide and firm tannins and a long end with a lovely red fruits’ aftertaste.
|Region||Argentina, Mendoza, Lujan de Cuyo|
Wine EnthusiastDeep berry aromas are softened by a touch of prune on this fully ripe Cabernet that's a bit soupy and soft on the palate. Cassis and brown-sugar flavors suggest maximum ripeness, while Port notes are easy to find on the finish. Drink through 2021.
Wine AdvocateProduced with grapes from the classical Mendoza district, the 2015 Bramare Luján de Cuyo Malbec feels very ripe and a little earthy. In more recent vintages, they moved more toward Las Compuertas and fresher zones even within the Luján zone. The palate is medium-bodied, with moderate acidity and some dusty tannins. The combination of ripeness and oak gives it some rusticity. 50,400 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2017.
