Full bodied with fine tannins, complex aromas of red fruit, with hints of prune and leather. The mouth is well structured & balanced; it has a velvety palate and a long finish.

Wine AdvocateThe 2012 Atlantis red, from the Cyclades appellation, is the winery's easy drinking example of Mandilaria (with 10% Mavrotragano blended in), aged in new French oak for approximately 6 months. With a sweet, slightly vanilla-raspberry overlay in its youth, this nonetheless shows good acidity, some backbone and a very elegant mid-palate. Its structure and graceful demeanor keeps it from being too simple. In fact, it is utterly charming and bursting with flavor. Drink it at least a little cool-say, mid-60sF at worst. It should hold a few years, but let's see where it is when we get there. There is no reason to cellar it. Drink now to 2016.
