The 2014 Love Drunk is an intoxicating rosé. Much like new love, it clouds the brain, causes eyes to sparkle, cheeks to glow, blood pressure to rise, and lips to pucker. Provocative aromas of strawberry and raspberry, followed by refreshing flavors of wild strawberry, watermelon rind, and a hint of kiwi. 77% Chardonnay with 23% Pinot Noir.
Domaine les Hautes Cances Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne Rosé 2016Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan. Enjoy a bottle tonight!
Château de Pourcieux Côtes de Provence Rosé 2016Stylish rosé, with rich flavors of apricot, ripe peach and cantaloupe with smoky, spicy notes. Rich, almost creamy finish, with palate cleansing acidity. Full, rich wine, both fruity and ripely textured. The wine has weight, concentrated red fruits, with a touch of citrus. Typically dry, its richness makes it seem soft, rounded and for food. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah.
M. Chapoutier Côtes du Rhône Belleruche Rosé 2016Colour: Pale pink with bluish tints. Nose: Aromas of red fruits and citrus (grapefruit, etc.) complemented by notes of exotic fruits. Mouth: The wine is fresh, delicate and fruity on entry and underpinned by a lovely freshness that prolongs the drinking enjoyment.
Domaine de Mourchon Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Loubié Rosé 2016This wine has aromas of strawberries, citrus fruit and spring flowers. The palate has good acidity, is refreshing, full of fruit and has a good length. A blend of Grenache and Syrah. Enjoy as an aperitif, for a barbecue or as an accompaniment for Mediterranean style food such as Provencal salad or ratatouille. This wine also marries very well with spicy food.
