Lignier-Michelot Bourgogne Rouge 2015
Deep ruby. A distinctly earthy nose is comprised primarily of dark berries and humus nuances. There is a relatively refined mouth feel for a wine at this level as the middle weight flavors are shaped by well-integrated tannins on the delicious, energetic and lightly saline-inflected finish. This is forward yet offers solid depth and length. Burghound
Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle. It has a slightly rustic bouquet with brambly red fruit and earthy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin but clean, tart red cherry fruit and a pretty, strawberry-tinged finish.
