Gadais Pere Et Fils La Grande Reserve Muscadet 2016This classic seafood wine that bursts with refreshing citrus flavors hails from the mouth of the Loire River in France. The region is Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, and the grape is Melon de Bourgogne. Coming from 30+ year-old vines, the wine is aged sur lie and then bottled for freshness in the spring. The result is a stunning dry white wine with racy, to die for acidity.
Cave de Lugny Macon Lugny Les Charmes 2015The nose explodes with aromas of citrus, peach and apricot followed by a wonderful balance between acidity and sweetness with a marked freshness. Argiolas Costamolino 2016Vermentino often shows the fragrance of macchia, the mix of evergreen shrubs and herbs that typifies the Sardinian landscape. Costamolino hints at aromas of pine and mint coupled with ripe stone fruit and sweet citrus. The palate is at once vibrant and textural and finishes with lingering acidity. Costamolino is produced with the Mediterranean table in mind. The wine's lemony acidity will accent rock lobster or squid but carries enough weight to work with spaghetti topped with bottarga or a bowl of brothy clams and fregola. Vermentino's herbal flavor can also highlight vegetables such as fava beans or fennel.

The Allegrini family’s innovations in appassimento winemaking have made the estate’s classic Amarone and Valpolicella wines exemplars of excellence, while their emphasis on single vineyard expressions of local grape varieties has drawn renewed interest in the Veneto. About the Wine: Ruby red in color, with purplish-blue highlights, this wine offers up classic qualities of Corvina, the historic grape variety of the appellation. The fragrant nose is filled with red fruit and aromatic herbs, and the wine’s flavors echo the nose, led by prominent notes of cherries with fresh hints of pepper and more herbs. This young wine is distinctly lively and playful on the palate, while maintaining great elegance and finesse.
