Inspired by classic French Right Bank Bordeaux wines, this blend of merlot and cabernet franc showcases the bold, distinctive terrior of Paso Robles with full, bright fruit.

PALATE: Full and complex with an elegant mix of ripe red fruit, primarily cherry with cassis and a little plum, and rich baking spice on the entry. A little dusty, savory cabernet franc charm emerges on the mid-palate along with subtle mint and eucalyptus notes leading to a long, clean finish. Returning cherry and currant fruit surrounded by firm tannins that give length and depth to this, perfectly balanced blend.

Wine EnthusiastThis blend of 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot is quite ripe on the nose, with lavish black-currant fruit as well as dried dill and fennel touches. Impressively soft and thick, the tannic structure coats every corner of the mouth, carrying flavors of black cherry, mint-laced chocolate and black truffle.
