Harvesting takes place a week later than for the Clos Dubreuil plots and is done by hand, using small baskets. This 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc wine is made to honor the winemaker, Benoit Trocard’s grandmother. The vineyard site is 2.5 acres. It is a very complex wine with integrated oak from 20 months of aging in French oak barrels.
