Jean Edwards Seventy Four - Forty One Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.
We pay homage to our east coast roots by naming this 100% cabernet sauvignon wine "74-41" representing the coordinates of our New Jersey residence. Always 100% cabernet sauvignon from a combination of mountain and valley floor vineyards. The wine is a stunning dark purple in the glass. Black and blue fruits are followed by whiffs of tobacco in the nose. The mouth is nicely layered - dark black and blue fruit, cassis, cola and currants. The wine coats the mouth while maintaining its focus on the smooth and persistent finish. Aged 22 months in French Oak (75% new) Baconbrook Vineyard (Spring Mountain) Stagecoach Vineyard (Pritchard Hill) Broken Rock Vineyard (foothills of Atlas Peak) If you're a fan of our "74-41" cabernet, you'll want to load-up on the 2014 vintage - due to fruit shortfalls in 2015 we did not produce a "74-41" cabernet wine.
