Château Lestage Montagne Saint Emilion 2012
This wine is rich, big and has everything you want in a top notch right bank wine. The tannins are a bit stiff and this needs some time, but in a few years this will be kiler. This is an outstanding wine, especially for the money.
Wine AdvocateAlways one of the fruitiest and most open-knit and precocious of the Listrac wines, the 2012 Lestage (a blend of 56% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot) has a healthy, deep ruby/purple color, ripe, velvety tannins, and loads of fruit in a medium-bodied, exuberant, extroverted style - just the opposite of most Listracs. Drink this seductive wine over the next 5-8 years.
