Chateau Castera Medoc 2010
Beautiful garnet-red colour with cherry tint. Brilliant and limpid. Nose is neat with a good intensity. Very fresh, red fruits, spices and fresh almond. A nice touch of undergrowth.
The attack is supple evolving towards a pleasant tannic structure. It is a hearty, round
wine. The finish is long with cherry and mint aromas. It is a very pleasant wine dominated by fruit and freshness.

Wine AdvocateStrawberry, cherry, herbs, saddle leather and licorice are all present in this soft, round, easygoing, mid-weight wine, which is meant for consumption over the next 3-4 years.
Wine EnthusiastFirm, dark and finely tannic, this has weight and richness, with a severity that dominates the fruitiness. It's dry and tough, and it's aging potential is questionable.
