Colene Clemens Adriane Pinot Noir 2014
Named after Victoria’s daughter and Colene’s granddaughter, Adriane is an estate cuvée com-posed of specifically selected barrels that possess deep, concentrated flavors and a persistent finish. The aromas are focused and complex, with a range of red and dark red fruit and sweet spice. On the palate, there is an intense and linear core of sweet fruit, and compact, balanced layers of flavor, that crescendo in a long finish. Age-worthy and well balanced, Adriane is struc-tured to gain complexity and interest over the next eight to twelve years safely tucked away in your cellar.

Wine AdvocatePale ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Adriane has a meaty/broody character with notes of black raspberries, black cherries and red plums plus touches of violets, forest floor and Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied, this is firmly structured with a solid foundation of grainy, ripe tannins and racy acid supporting the muscular fruit, finishing long and earthy. It should age beautifully!
Wine EnthusiastPretty raspberry fruit coalesces in midpalate with a bright, spicy, flavor-boosting kick. It's young, fresh and nicely balanced. Drink now-2020.
Wine SpectatorTrim and focused, with dark berry and black tea aromas and well-structured smoky plum and mineral flavors that lead to refined tannins. Best after 2018. 1,053 cases made.
