Very deep, saturated ruby in color. Fresh, piercing aromas of black cherry, violet, lavender and sweet spices on the nose. Then super smooth but dense, with wonderful poise and balance to the ripe red cherry, dark berry, aromatic herb and mineral flavors. Finishes long with youthfully chewy tannins and lingering floral nuances. Concentrated but tastes much lighter and vibrant than the majority of other Amarones made today; but the young chewy, grainy tannins pick up steam on the long finish and will require patience.
Layers of dark chocolate, black olive and espresso add dimension, while a note of peppery spice lingers on the finish. A creamy and harmonious red, medium- to full-bodied, featuring light, dusty tannins that frame the flavors of baked black cherry, date, grilled thyme and loamy earth. Allegrini Valpolicella Classico is ruby red in color with purplish-blue highlights. The nose exhibits fragrant fruit with prominent notes of cherries, echoed by fresher hints of pepper and aromatic herbs, typical of Corvina and Corvinone, the historic varietals of this appellation. When it is young, it is impressively lively and playful on the palate, whereas two years later, it expresses greater delicacy and finesse. From Valpolicella Classico D.O.C.

This Amarone leaps from the glass with an array of aromas that seem daunting at first but then are as comforting as a down comforter. Opening with aromas of ripe black plums, dusted with candied violet petals, espression and a distinct crushed chalk minerality. The palate is voluminous as dried black cherries, black tea and savory herbal flavors rush to meet the roasted coffee bean and licorice roots notes found on the compelling finish. Drink Now - 2045
