M. Chapoutier La Combe Pilate Viognier 2017
|Region||France, Rhone, Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes|
Bright peach and apricot flavors burst forth, with light fennel and green almond hints trailing through on the finish. The minimal toast allows the deliciously exuberant fruit to shine. Drink now through 2020.
Grown on the mixed-use farm where Michel Chapoutier lives, the 2017 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes La Combe Pilate Viognier features aromas of struck flint, floral notes, hints of tobacco and fresh apricot. Only medium-bodied, it's fresh, lively and varietally distinct, with a fast-fading finish.
