Jayson Red Wine displays dense, vivid red color in the glass. Aromas of cherry, blackberry jam, and ripe strawberry play over underlying hints of anise with a warm touch of cassis. The deep fruit extends over a smooth palate supported by well-integrated tannins. This is an appealing, approachable wine, with mouth-coating intensity and hints of chocolate on the finish.
A blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 15% Petite Syrah, 4% Cabernet Franc.

Another great value is the 2019 Red Blend Jayson, which has a rich, medium to full-bodied, elegant profile as well as notes of darker currants, cherries, dark chocolate, coffee beans, and scorched earth. It needs a short decant if drinking any time soon, and it has the balance and depth to keep for 10-12 years.
