Mosel, Germany- Spritzy, fresh and clean with a dry finish. The property was founded in 1850 and is located along the middle Mosel. The current owners are Armin Vogel (husband) and Mona Bastgen (wife) who began working in the winery in 1993.
Good flavor with decent mouthfeel, paired nicely with chicken and dumplings. Sweetness cut through the savory richness of the soup and provided a great pairing. Flavors of rich fruit, light body, and grapefruit.

From nose to finish, this is an ebulliently fruity wine offering loads of concentrated white peach and apricot notes. It's just a shade off-dry and an easy people-pleaser, but it's also a surprisingly stealthy wine with a finish that feels cut by shards of slate and salt. An elegant, satisfying wine with wide appeal.
