Andis Painted Fields Cuvée Blanc 2019
|Region||California, Sierra Foothills, Amador County|
A white wine blend of unique grapes grown in the Sierra Foothills AVA. This brisk white lead with a tense interplay of apple, pineapple, and peach. It’s nervy and tropical at once, with mouthwatering acidity reminiscent of a tart white peach. The Painted Fields “Cuvée Blanc” is a medium-bodied white blend inspired by the traditional white wines of Southern France. Fruity with aromas of white pepper, citrus, banana, passionfruit. The palate blends together notes of lemon and apple that lead to a lingering finish.
The wine is produced by legendary Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky former winemaker from Screaming Eagle. They are an incredible expression and value of what the Sierra Foothills region has to offer!
