Aperture Sauvignon Blanc 2019
|Region||California, Sonoma County|
Balanced between crisp and complex tropical fruit, citrus and dried herb, this barrel- fermented white is well-defined on the palate. While deft in approach, it still has weight and breadth as well as a lingering spice note on the finish.
Opens with a thread of honeysuckle and dragon well green tea, giving way to ripe peach, apricot and mango flavors. Generous and succulent, juicy and plump, with an air of elegance. Drink now. 1,600 cases made.
From the cooler Bennett Valley, the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is terrific, offering juicy notes of white peach, nectarines, and exotic flowers to go with a medium-bodied, balanced profile on the palate. It's another classy, beautifully made white from this estate.
