Owen Roe Abbot's Table 2019
|Region||United States, Washington, Columbia Valley|
A beautiful garnet red hue is luscious with bursting aromas of black currants, blueberry and cherry. A layer of white pepper spice and tobacco are interlaced with gripping acidity, roasted red pepper and earth notes. This bright red blend is youthful and shows great cellaring potential!
An eclectic blend of 38% Sangiovese, 35% Zinfandel, 18% Blaufrankisch, and 9% Malbec, the 2019 Abbot's Table spent a year in neutral French oak prior to bottling. Bright plum and wild strawberry fruits as well as flowery herb notes emerge from the glass, and it's medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, elegant character, good acidity, and a great finish. Drink this pure, juicy, elegant red over the coming 4-6 years.
