The 2019 Chianti Classico Primocolle is lifted with ripe red cherry, iron-rich earth, and fresh leather. Medium-bodied, with some meaty iron minerality on the palate, it has fine tannins and a broad richness. The palate is dry and savory, with tangerine, turned soil, and fresh salinity. This lovely red is drinking beautifully now and will continue to drink well over the next 6-8 years.
