In 1956 Michel Robin married Janine LaFugie, joining their families and vineyards. The Lafugie family property is located in the commune of Saint Hippolyte, at the foot of the hills of Saint-Emilion, with sandy and sandy-clay soil - producing wines from both Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. The Robin family vineyards are located in the commune of Saint-Genes de Castillon, with limestone-clay soils - producing wines from Cotes de Bordeaux.

Michel and Janine's two daughters, Inès and Laurence, would continue their story. In 1981 Inès married Dominique Fugier, who took over the family property in 1991. In 2003, Laurence decided to join the family business, followed a few years later by her niece Mathilde. Women are the strength of this vineyard, managing the production now for three generations.

They take great care in manually harvesting and selecting grapes before wine production. The winemaking is done both in concrete tanks and stainless steel, and the aging process lasts from 12 to 18 months and is done in new oak barrels for Saint Emilion Grand Cru. The main used grape is Merlot (80%), then followed by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

14-acre vineyard planted with a dominance of Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc has produced a ripe, perfumed wine. Still showing its wood aging, it will nevertheless develop well, emphasizing the ripe black-currant fruits and jammy richness. Drink from 2023.
