Ruby red in color with violet reflections, our Nero d'Avola has intense scents of currants, wild strawberries, and pomegranates. On the palate, it is fresh and soft, with a surprising persistence. Crisp yet smooth in the mouth, it concludes with a surprisingly lengthy finish. At its best when partnered with the classic pasta alla Norma, but impressive with red meats and wild game as well.
