Dry white wine that exhibits a pleasing freshness and balanced minerality with notes of pear and star fruit rounding out the finish. The winery is HVE certified. Thus, no pesticides, herbicides, or organic-approved products are used. Perfect as an aperitif or pairing with fish, shellfish, and goat cheese. I've always found a glass of Sancerre is a great way to start the evening.
Opening with a classic Sancerre bouquet of mineral and fresh Sauvignon Blanc fruit, sails lightly and gracefully over the palate with classic notes of citrus, gooseberry, and lime. What makes Jean-Marc's Sancerre a standout is the sheer fruitful exuberance of the vintage, which featured abundant sunshine and just enough rain to keep the grapes fresh, ripe, and healthy. The wine is still quite youthful on the palate, offering strikingly fresh and slightly voluptuous notes of citrus, lime, and yellow fruit, nicely balanced by brisk, tangy minerality on the finish. A superb Sancerre at a great price!
