Dark golden yellow hue. Nose is intense. When young, the wine's nose is fresh with apricot, peach and jasmine aromas. After a year of cellar-ageing, dry apricot aromas dominate the nose which then goes on to develop notes of acacia honey, quince and ripe peaches. When young, the wine is fresh and soft with hints of apricots and wild peaches. It is a perfect partner for aperitifs, summer salads, grilled white fish, sushi and sweet and sour Asian cuisine. This is a wine to be enjoyed when it is still relatively young, but which will go on to develop a lovely fat and notes of dried apricots and honey with age. When young, this wine is perfect with aperitifs, summer salads, grilled white fish, sushi and sweet and sour Asian cuisine. With age, it will pair nicely with shrimp dishes, a terrine of salmon and dry or ash-dusted goat's cheeses.
