The 2021 Chardonnay Vinculum from Los Chacayes in the Uco Valley was aged in French barrels, 20% new, while half of the remaining 80% underwent malolactic fermentation in used barrels. Yellow in the glass with a bright golden sheen. The nose offers pear, creamed corn, hazelnut and oak aromas with subtle buttery undertones. The palate is indulgent and plush with a fairly concentrated mouthfeel. The acidity is well-integrated, leading to a refreshing, long- lasting finish.

After 10 months of aging in oak barrels, this bright Chardonnay starts with notes of honeysuckle and butter. The grapes are from Gualtallary and Chacayes in the Uco Valley and its vibrant character is proof of it. Vanilla bean and ginger cookie flavors are prominent, but good acidity cuts through them, helping notes of ripe lime and honey shine in the aftertaste.
