The 2019 version of our Alessio is far and away the most gigantic Alessio to date. Incredible weight, it pulses o the palate. This is Cabernet, Merlot and Cabernet Franc forming the perfect blend of concentration, power and seductiveness. Dark cocoa and boysenberry gush from the glass and continue to pull you in until the last sip crosses your lips.

The 2019 Alessio Proprietary Red checks in as one-third each of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, sourced from the Sugarloaf and Sage Ridge vineyards. It has jammy red and black fruits, Asian spices, graphite, and chocolaty notes in forward, opulent, yet balanced and concentrated style that just begs to be drunk. It has great tannins, a good sense of freshness, and should evolve for 15+ years if stored properly.

The 2019 Alessio is a big wine, as these all are, but it has a bit more energy and vibrancy than most of the other cuvees. Red berry fruit, crushed flowers, spice, mocha, nint and blood orange all build as this heady, attention grabbing Cabernet shows off its explosive, alluring personality.
