Burgans Albariño 2014
Wine SpectatorCrisp acidity gives this juicy white a sharp edge, but broader flavors of peach, kumquat and honeysuckle blossom on the palate. Focused and juicy. Drink now. 22,000 cases imported.
Wine AdvocateThis is from a famous bodega that was one of the first to import their Albarino to the United States. Albarino is now one of the hot, fashionable, light-bodied, dry whites, somewhat of a Spanish version of a light Condrieu from France's Northern Rhône Valley. This well-made Albarino is dry, quite crisp, with notes of honeysuckle, apricots and peaches in a medium-bodied, fresh, lively style. Drink it over the next year, as most of its appeal is in its compelling fragrance.
