Talbott Kali Hart Pinot Noir 2017
|Region||California, Central Coast, Monterey|
This bottling begins with aromas of cherry and berry along with wild mint and dried tarragon. Strong hits of licorice and star anise play well with the berry backdrop on the palate.
Vivid red. Fresh red berry and rose aromas are sharpened by a peppery nuance that builds in the glass. Energetic, spice-laced raspberry, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors steadily turn sweeter on the back half. Finishes silky and long, with a repeating red fruit note, a hint of smokiness and silky, slow-building tannins.
Broad-textured, with plum compote and cherry tart flavors that are ripe and spicy. Mincemeat notes show on the finish. Drink now. 44,000 cases made.
