Founded in the heart of Valpolicella's classico area by Angelo Righetti, this company still opreates a vineyard on a human scale in the city of Valgarata. Made according to the « ripasso » method, this Venetian classic acquires structure thanks to a second fermentation with the must of an Amarone and notes of candied cherry, dark chocolate, oak, spice, vanilla. Corvina and Rondinella.
Subtle aromas of dark berry, cooking spice and cedar emerge from the glass. The straightforward palate shows black cherry jam, vanilla and star anise alongside round tannins. Drink through 2021.
