Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy. Acquired in 1933 by the Doudet family, the latter knew how to develop it and make it prosper, while knowing how to preserve its fundamental values which are respect for traditions and excellence.
Mineral pale yellow gold in color. On the nose it is expressive with nice minerality and racy amplitude. On the palate it is generous and invigorating, it first opens with floral notes (citrus, juniper, quince) then reveals nuances of hazelnut and exotic fruits. A slightly vanilla elegance accompanied by fine tannins completes the whole. The mouth is frank and balanced with a very pleasant persistence. The bottle perfectly respects its terroir of origin.
Pairing: in general all shellfish and fish. It is also marvelous with chicken, hot sausage, Charcuterie, dumplings, fresh goat cheese, and aged cheeses.
