Wine Advocate 92 Points "The vines for the 2013 Enclave Cabernet Sauvignon are planted at 700 to 1,000 meters altitude, in the banks of the alluvial terraces of the Maipo River. You can feel the freshness of the year in this wine, which also shows the typicity of the place and the variety. It has some fine-grained tannins that would welcome some powerful food. It has very good balance and all the ingredients to age effortlessly in a bottle"
Enclave is deep, dark red in color. The nose reveals red fruit such as plums and cherries, a touch of cassis, white pepper, damp earth, and a hint of black fruit. It has a very interesting aromatic complexity. In the mouth, this is a concentrated and well-structured wine with firm yet silky smooth tannins. Persistent in the finish. This blend has layers of flavors. The firm tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot intermingle with the softness and complexity of the Carménère and the elegance of the Cabernet Franc.
Cabernet Sauvignon 89%, Petit Verdot 4%, Carménère 4%, Cabernet Franc 3%

This brilliant Cabernet-based cuvée comes from the Andean side of the valley and also includes Petit Verdot, Carmenère, and Cabernet Franc. It’s a complex, savory, deftly oaked red with fine-grained tannins, mint, plum, and cassis fruit, and a leafy undertone. Long and refreshing on the palate. 2019-28.

Enclave is Ventisquero Winemaker Felipe Tosso's collaboration with John Duval from Australia. The result is a smoky, oaky Cabernet, with subtle black cherry and cassis aromas that turn more earthy with air. A layered and structured palate is home to flavors of tobacco, chocolate, berry fruits and cassis. On the finish, oak remains out front. Drink through 2022.

Aged in 50 percent new French oak barrels for 18 months) Bright purple. Exotically perfumed scents of red and dark berry preserves, potpourri, and licorice carry smoke, vanilla and pipe tobacco overtones. Silky and expansive on the palate, offering energetic blackberry and cherry cola flavors that put on weight with aeration. This rich yet lively wine finishes bright and spicy, featuring supple tannins and lingering sweetness.

A firm and silky wine with currant and hints of vanilla on the nose and palate. Medium body and a clean finish. Needs a year or two to soften. Always outstanding.
