Method Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
|Region||California, Napa Valley|
The wines are made to showcase the complexity of flavor, diversity of terroir, and distinct characteristics of California’s appellations and wine regions. Proprietor and vintner, Trevor Sheehan started his journey to create a top wine collection when he became a winemaker 10 years ago. His first wines were eight barrels of Chardonnay from the Beckstoffer Vineyard and Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain. Trevor carefully defined his wine-making style over the years drawing inspiration from fellow winemakers such as Nils Venge and Henri Jayer.
Featuring opulent layers of blackberry, bing cherry, and juicy red fruit characters that unfold with complex nuances of violet and mocha. Ample, mature tannins provide a firm structure and rich texture for the mouth-filling flavors. This rich, generous Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is approachable and delicious now.
A structured and powerful wine with blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and hazelnut. Crunchy seeds. Flowers. It’s full and juicy. Plenty of fruit and a fresh finish. Clearly shows the excellence of the vintage with the pure fruit.
Wine & Spirits
An open, racy cabernet, this has the cool feel of stone in a deep well, that tannic depth filled by ripe plum fruit. Brighter notes of cherries and cranberries emerge with the air, and the wine retains its lively feel, suggesting it will improve over the next several years in bottle.
