The NV Rosé Prestige Premier Cru offers a salmon/amber color as well as impressive notes of orange blossoms, dried strawberries, burnt toast, and hints of minerality. Made in a medium-bodied, concentrated, yet elegant style, it has a fine, crisp mousse, and terrific length. It’s an impressive rosé that should evolve gracefully.

(made from 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir; L2346 NM): Pale orange. Smoky red berries, toasty lees and orange zest on the highly perfumed nose. Pliant penetrating redcurrant and blood orange flavors are sweetened by a touch of honey and pick up smokiness with air. Deep but dry, even a bit uncompromising in a positive way. The red berry quality comes back on the finish, which shows very good clarity, lift and refreshing bitterness.

Soft and creamy, with a smoke-tinged, minerally overtone to the flavors of strawberry preserves, dried thyme, toast and mandarin orange peel. Moderate finish. Disgorged September 2017. Drink now. 3,000 cases made, 675 cases imported.

Raspberry flavors and great freshness give this wine both structure and a light touch. Attractive acidity is balanced with a softer backdrop from the dosage. The aftertaste is all fruit with just a light texture.
