The Bodegas Olarra Group was born in 1973 with the construction, on the outskirts of Logroño, of a winery for great Rioja wines. Modern techniques, under a traditional culture. In 1985, Bodegas Ondarre emerged, making the most of the typicity of the vineyards and the diversity of Viana’s soils. Long-aging wines and the group’s first cavas are produced there. In the year 2000, the Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle project began, following the classic Château model with the same philosophy as single-use wines.
Medium-high layer, it has a ruby color with cherry nuances. Alive and bright. On the nose, the predominant notes are red fruits, vanilla, and spicy tones. More complex aromas (honey, toasted…) begin to take center stage towards the formation of the bouquet. The palate is firm and soft on the mid-palate, long, and with very frank aromas that persist after being swallowed.

90% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo. Rolling, elegant, and complex with a resplendent coconut, blackberry, plum, and vanilla oak bouquet. Polished oak on the palate with some leafy dark berries, strawberry, and black raspberry elements. Mouth-filling, refined tannins rev up, with touches of coffee and chocolate mocha on the lingering finish.
