Chateau Haut-Filius Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2019
Chateau Haut-Filius is located on the southern slope of the hills of Saint-Emilion, close to the Chateau the Angelus. The owners of the manor - Michel and Genevieve Querrey. The vineyards have a natural shelter from the cold winds and the sun, which contributes to the ideal ripening berries. On 9 ha of land are cultivated varieties Merlot (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The combination of these three varieties gives the wine finesse and elegance. Grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes to preserve the quality of berries.
A smooth, rich wine, this hasn't lost its sense of tannins but also has generous black fruits. The full wine is lightly spiced, perfumed, and already well-balanced. Drink from 2025.
